I’m Bobby Rakhit, your Chief Everything Officer, finance wizard, investment enthusiast, and sales junkie. My journey to this point has been a rollercoaster of wins, personal challenges, and a whole lot of not giving up. I’ve got a CFA charter and proudly flaunt my McGill University degree, which, combined with my MBA in Finance, has made me a bit of a big deal in the finance world. I even launched Rakhit Capital, a family venture born from my business and investment triumphs.
But let’s be real—I’m not just a spreadsheet nerd, even though I do love me a good Excel formula. I’ve also got a flair for sales. At FactSet, I led a sales and consulting team across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, scoring big wins that not only boosted the company’s international revenues but also its global swagger.
Before that, I was grinding away in investment banking and equity research at HSBC, U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, and Morgan Stanley. I even managed to sneak my way onto CNBC, NDTV Profit, Al Jazeera, and Bloomberg TV.
What’s my secret? It’s a mix of stubborn perseverance and a deep appreciation for my mentors—my grandfather, Colin Rogers, Garrick Killbery, and Richard Bilotti. These legends saw something in me and shared their wisdom every step of the way. Their guidance, my drive, and a never-give-up attitude have shaped who I am today.
So, in a nutshell, I’m here living the finance and sales dream, constantly evolving, and hopefully inspiring fellow hustlers.
As a firm believer in giving back, I am proud to announce the launch of the Rakhit Foundation, a non-profit enterprise aimed at fulfilling dreams and launching upliftment projects. Our first project will focus on selecting a small group of young orphans in Africa and providing them with much-needed assistance with their daily needs, health, and education.
